                              Following on their victory over Cobh ,on Easter Monday, the Brian Dillons Minor Hurlers claimed their second East Cork scalp when they proved far too good for Lisgoold in the Rebel Og County Minor Hurling League , at the Tank Field, on Thursday, 11th April,2013.  The final score was; Brian Dillons, 4-19; Lisgoold, 1-4;
                          Brian Dillons got off to a dream start when full-forward , Kieran Delaney, rattled the back of the Lisgoold net after just thirty seconds play. Midfielder, Keith McCormick, quickly added a point to increase the Brian Dillons lead but, Lisgoold responded with a goal in the third minute., and an exciting tussle looked likely. However, it did not turn out that way as the Brian Dillons side were completely on top for the remainder of the game. The half-time score was; Brian Dillons, 1-12; Lisgoold,1-3;
                      The second half failed to bring about any change in the trend of the game as Brian Dillons, with the help of their second goal by Eric O"Donoghue in the fourth minute, continued to dominate the proceedings. A string of well taken points plus two further goals ,from Kieran Delaney, pushed Brian DIllons into an unassailable ,4-19 to 1-4, lead at the final whistle.
                    Besides the scorers, Brian Dillons had other notable performances in goalkeeper, Michael Feeney, outstanding full-back, Darren McGrath, John Kenny, Andrew White and Ryan Burns.
