The Brian Dillons Minor Footballers maintained their unbeaten run in this years Rebel Og County Minor Football League when they

 proved far too strong for Whites Cross, at the Tank Field on Monday evening, 24th June,2013.  The final score was, Brian Dillons, 5-17; Whites Cross, 1-9.

                   The overall physical strength of the Brian Dillons players was a major factor in this victory with big players like Darren McGrath, Keith McCormick,James Bradfield, Mark Kelly, Brian Manning,Eric O"Donoghue and Kieran Delaney making it extremely difficult for the lighter Whites Cross players. With wind advantage in the opening half, Brian Dillons made full use of it and they had built up a lead of 4-10 to 0-4 by half-time. Whites Cross were much more competitive in the second -half but good defensive performances from Ryan Burns, Michael Feehan and "keeper, Mark Sheedy prevented them from getting sufficient scores to trouble Brian Dillons. Others to perform particularly well for Brian Dillons were Adam Cotter,Andrew White  and John Kenny.
