The Brian Dillons Minor footballers recorded a facile, 3-19 to 2-2, victory over Courcey Rovers in the Rebel Og (East) Minor Football League , which was played in Pairc Diolunaigh on Thursday evening, 12th July,2012.

                 This game was totally one-sided with the Brian Dillons lads in total control from start to finish. At half -time ,it was 2-11 to 0-1,in Brian Dillons favour. The second -half continued in the same manner and Brian Dillons Team Manager Billy Cashman was able to empty the bench as his side strolled to a comprehensive victory. Next up for the Brian Dillons Minor Footballers is a first round Championship game on Wednesday next,18th July,when Carrigtwohill provide the opposition ,which will be played in Carrigtwohill.

                   Star performer against Courcey Rovers was Michael Peters, who was in sparkling form and ended up scoring  a whopping 2-9. Others to give impressive performances were;Dale O"Neill, Stephen Kearney and Timmy O"Sullivan,in defence, Darren McGrath and James O"Shea,at midfield,and Shane Corcoran, Eric O"Donoghue and sub.,Kieran Delaney in attack.
