The Brian Dillons Junior (B) Footballers suffered their second defeat ,within five days, in the City Division Junior (2) Football League when they went under to Douglas (B),  on Sunday morning, 26th, April,2015, at the Douglas venue.  The final score was; Douglas (B),3-10; Brian Dillons (B),0-7. As in the previous Wednesday nights loss to Mayfield, a poor start to the second half, left Brian Dillons with a mountain to climb. Douglas held a two point interval lead, 0-5 to 0-3, after a closely fought opening half but, the concession of 2-3 ,in the opening nine minutes of the second half, had Brian Dillons trailing, 2-8 to 0-3. In fairness to Brian Dillons, who started with seven changes from the Mayfield game, they refused to throw-in the towel, holding Douglas scoreless for the next 15 minutes, while adding four consecutive points to their own scoreline, as well as being most unlucky not to have two goals when Eoin Keane"s rasping shot came back off the crossbar and Thomas McGraths goalbound shot just went narrowly wide. Douglas finished the game with a further 1-2 in the closing three minutes, which gave them a comfortable win ,in the end.  Scorers for Brian Dillons were; Seanie O"Dwyer, 0-4 (0-2 frees)
Tommy Boland, 0-2; and Eoin Hennessy, 0-1. The Brian Dillons team lined out as follows;John Shek;Ciarain Kelleher. Derek McDonnell;Stephen Coughlan; Damian Horgan; Kevin O"Sullivan; Stephen Kearney; Ken McCarthy;James Murphy; Eoin Hennessy; Tommy Boland; Dave Coughlan; Thomas McGrath; Seanie O"Dwyer;and Eoin Keane;  Subs; Daniel O"Mahony for Ken McCarthy (Inj, 10mins.); Paul Horgan for Stephen Coughlan (Inj, 20mins.); Stephen Coughlan for Derek McDonnell (45 mins.).
