Junior (B) Footballers Impress with League win over "Barrs

                       The Brian Dillons Junior (B) Footballers recorded an easy, 4-10 to 0-3, victory over St. Finbarrs in the City Division J.F.L.(2) game at a bitterly cold and blustery Pairc Diolunaigh on Sunday morning,29th, April, 2012. Two goals in the opening few minutes ,scored by Maurice Carey and Andrew Murphy, set the tone for this emphatic win. A second goal by Maurice Carey ,late in the first half, eased the Brian Dillons side into a 3-3 to 0-2 interval lead. The "Barrs side attacked strongly in the second half,in an effort to reduce the deficit, but, stern defensive play by Stephen Coughlan, James Murphy and Paul Horgan ,for Brian Dillons, conceded just a solitary point throughout the entire half hour.
                      At the other end of the field the Brian Dillons forwards continued to notch some impressive scores,with Michael Peters securing their fourth goal, and the issue was done and dusted well before the finish which allowed Team Manager, Jason Long an opportunity to empty the bench,
