Forced to field without several regulars, the Brian Dillons Junior (A) Hurlers continued their unbeaten run in this years City Division Junior (1) Hurling League when they recorded a comfortable ,0-19 to 3-3, victory over Delanys ,at Pairc Diolunaigh on Tuesday,24th April 2012 Brian Dillons were always in control of this game but, the concession of three goals, one late in the first half and two towards the end of the game, will be a cause of concern for Team Manager, Kieran O"Mahony. Leading by 0-11 to 1-2 at half -time,the Brian Dillons side continued to rifle over the points in the second half and with ten minutes remaining they were ahead by 0-17 to 1-3. Then, as a result of our defence giving away two silly 21-yard frees ,Delanys scored two late goals which put a more respectable look on the final scoreline.
