                     Brian Dillons Junior (A) Hurlers  maintained their unbeaten run in the City Division Junior (1) Hurling League with a hard -earned, 2-8 to 1-8, victory over Nemo Rangers ,in Pairc Diolunaigh ,on Sunday,1st July,2012. Brian Dillons are ,now, the clear leaders of this League with full points from their eight games played.
                     Forced to field without five of their Championship team, Brian Dillons played some impressive hurling in the opening half,with their defence,in particular,in complete control. At half-time,Brian Dillons had built up a 2-5 to 0-2 lead with the goals coming from Philip O"Brien and Cillian Brosnan.
                   Typically, Nemo came thundering into the game,during the second half which had Brian Dillons on the backfoot for most of the 30 minutes. However, the Brian Dillons defence,once again,made it extremely difficult for the Nemo forwards to score ,although they did get through for a goal with eight minutes remaining ,to leave just two points between the sides. A  great point by Cillian Brosnan ,for Brian Dillons, closed the scoring to give his team a 2-8 to 1-8 victory.
             The next League outing for Brian Dillons is on Monday,9th July,when they travel to Togher to face St.Finbarrs, while on the following Sunday morning,15th July,they play Douglas in the Quarter-final of the Championship,in Ballinlough.
               Scorers for Brian Dillons against Nemo were; Cillian Brosnan,1-7 (0-2 frees, 0-2,"65s);Philip O"Brien,1-0; and Andrew Murphy,0-1;
