Three good victories were recorded by the Brian Dillons Minors and both Junior teams in the Football Leagues during the past few days.    On Saturday afternoon, 2nd March,2013, the Brian Dillons Minor Footballers were in action against Cobh in the Rebel Og Co. Minor Football League , at the Tank Field. Following their big win over Ballyphehane, the previous week, Brian Dillons continued their unbeaten run with an easy 6-9 to 0-2 victory over the East Cork side.. Two early goals by full-forward, Kieran Delaney, got Brian Dillons off to the perfect start and with Darren McGrath, showing no effects from his great performance with the Under-21"s the previous night, and Keith McCormick controlling the game from midfield, they held a 2-4 to 0-1 lead at the interval..  With the Brian Dillons defence , in which Andrew White, Ryan Burns and Adam Cotter were in great form, completely on top, and the forwards notching some fine scores, they ran out the easiest of winners.

           Scorers for Brian Dillons were; Kieran Delaney,2-2; John Kenny,2-1; Eric O"Donoghue, 1-1; Brian Manning, 1-0; Darren McGrath,0-2; Ethan Keane, Andrew White and Ryan Burns,0-1 each.

            At the Tank Field, on Sunday morning, 3rd March,2013, the Brian Dillons Junior (B) Footballers recorded a comfortable 2-13 to 1-5 victory over Bishopstown in the City Division Junior (2) Football League.. Continuing the form they showed in the victory over Douglas the previous week, the Brian Dillons second string were always in control of this game and with early first half goals by Dave Coughlan and James O"Shea, they raced into a 2-6 to 0-2 interval lead. Bishopstown fared much better in the second half but there was never any danger of Brian Dillons losing their grip on the game, even though they were able to introduce their five substitutes during the course of the second half hour..
