Easy Win for Junior (A) Footballers in McSwiney Cup.

                           The Brian Dillons Junior (A) Footballers, winners of the McSwiney Cup in 2013, had little difficulty in advancing to the next round of this years competition, when they recorded an easy, 5-12 to 0-6, victory over St.Nicks, at a wet,blustery and extremely foggy Pairc Diolunaigh on Wednesday evening, 29th October, 2014. Visibility was extremely difficult, due to the fog that enveloped Pairc Diolunaigh, and ,at times ,during the game, it would have been no surprise if the referee called a halt to the proceedings. The game , however, did manage to run its course,and Brian Dillons fashioned a convincing victory, while laying down a marker that they have no intention of relinquishing the McSwiney Cup title this year.  Goals from Dave O"Leary and Cillian Brosnan helped Brian Dillons to go in at half-time with a 2-6 to 0-2 lead. The trend of the game remained the same throughout the second half with Brian Dillons dominating and further goals from Darragh Brosnan, Dave Cremin and Cillian Brosnan eased them into a 5-12 to 0-6 victory..  Scorers for Brian Dillons were; Cillian Brosnan, 2-1; Dave Cremin, 1-2; Dave O"Leary, 1-1; Darren McGrath,0-3; Tomas Lawrence, 0-3; Darragh Brosnan. 1-0' Philip O"Brien and Chris Daly, 0-1 each.
