The Brian Dillons Junior (B) Hurlers had their second easy victory within four days when they easily accounted for Lough Rovers, in the City Division Junior (2) Hurling League ,out in the Lough Ground on Monday night, 22nd April, 2013. The final score was; Brian Dillons,4-19; Lough Rovers,0-7:. This latest victory, following on last Friday evenings demolition of Ballyphehane, has Brian Dillons with maximum points from the three games played as they attempt to retain the title which they won in 2012. The game against Lough Rovers was as good as over at half-time when Brian Dillons were leading by 3-9 to 0-1. The only concern for team boss, Anthony O"Sullivan, was the amount of wide balls, fourteen in total, that his side amassed in the opening half hour.. However, some impressive points were also achieved as well as three splendid goals from Michael Colohan, Seanie O"Dwyer and a particularly splendid one from Tom Holohan. Brian Dillons continued to dominate the proceedings in the second half which allowed Anthony O"Sullivan to empty his bench which resulted in two his subs. getting their names on the scoresheet, Minor player,Kieran Delany getting a brilliant goal and John Shek pointing with aplomb after receiving an excellent pass from team captain, Tommy Boland.
