Comfortable Away League Win for Junior (A) Hurlers Over Whitechurch.

                   The Brian Dillons Junior (A) Hurlers,playing their first game in five weeks,  strolled to a comfortable victory over Whitechurch  in the City Division Junior (1) Hurling League, which was played in Whitechurch on Tuesday evening, 12th May, 2015. The final score was, Brian Dillons, 2-25; Whitechurch, 2-11.
                   While the result was never in doubt, especially when Brian Dillons were 1-4 to nil ahead after just four minutes play, the Brian Dillons management cannot feel entirely happy with the overall performance of their team. Far too many scoring chances were squandered in the opening half, including two goal opportunities, with the wide tally reaching ten by the time the first half reached it"s conclusion. Even with these first half misses, Brian Dillons still led ,at the interval, by 1-14 to 1-4. The second half  saw Brian Dillons continue to dominate, but, their play became too casual , at times, which allowed Whitechurch to add a further 1-7 to their half time tally. However, it was a comfortable 14 point victory ,in the end for Brian Dillons.
