Brian Dillons Junior (B) Hurlers get their 2013 League Campaign off to great start.

                       Continuing the sparkling form they showed at the conclusion of the 2012 season, when they captured the League and Craobh Ruadh Cup competitions, the Brian Dillons Junior (B) Hurlers got this years City Division Junior(2) Hurling League campaign off to an excellent start when they scored a 4-17 to 1-05 win over St.Finbarrs ,out in Pairc Diolunaigh on Wednesday evening, 20th March, 2013.
                        Right from the throw-in the Brian Dillons players displayed a great appetite and entusiasm for the game and with goals from James Horgan (two) and Kevin Varian they scorched into  3-06 to 0-05 interval lead.  The second half saw Brian Dillons again well in control  with a string of well taken points and another goal, scored by Brian Barrett, which saw them run out the easiest of winners .
                    The entire Brian Dillons side played extremely well with the defence , in which goalkeeper, Tom Holohan, the lionhearted Derek McDonnell, Ciarain Kelleher, Dylan O"Donoghue and James Varian  absolutely outstanding. Shane Maher and James O"Shea were full of energy at midfield while the final tally of 4-17 speaks volumes of the performance of the forwards..
                  The Brian Dillons scorers were; James Horgan, 2-6 (1-3 frees); Kevin Varian,1-5 (0-1free); Brian Barrett,1-1; Damian Horgan, 0-3; Tommy Boland and Dylan O"Donoghue, 0-1 each.
