                    The Brian Dillons second string Junior Footballers had an easy win over Ballinure in the City Division Junior (2) Football League game, which was played in Pairc Diolunaigh on Thursday, 4th April, 2013.  The final score was; Brian Dillons (B), 1-18; Ballinure, 2-1;
                   Even though they were never in trouble in this game, the performance of the Brian Dillons team was not convincing. At times they looked clumsy and careless particularly in the opening half when they struggled to stamp their authority on the proceedings. Two early points, scored by Dave Coughlan and Andrew Murphy had Brian Dillons ahead after 5 minutes play but, they were rocked by a Ballinure goal ,one minute later. James Horgan scored the Brian Dillons goal midway through the first half which helped his side to have a 1-5 to 1-0 interval lead after a most unconvincing half hours football.
                Brian Dillons began to play with much more composure and superiority in the second half and, with a string of well-taken points they had raced into a 1-10 to 1-0 lead after 15 minutes., which allowed Manager, Anthony O"Sullivan, introduce five subs into the game. Even though Ballinure struck for their second goal, one minute later, the Brian Dillons dominance was never threatened for the remainder of the game.  This latest victory gives Brian Dillons maximum points from three games played with their next assignment against Lough Rovers fixed for next Wednesday night, 10th April, at 7.30pm out in the Lough Grounds, in Carrigcrohane Road.
           Scorers for Brian Dillons in the Ballinure game were; James Horgan,1-2 (0-2 frees ); Kevin Varian, 0-4; Tommy Boland, 0-4; Andrew Murphy,James Varian, Kevin Coughlan, John Noonan, Dave Coughlan, Damian Horgan, Seanie O"Dwyer and Ciarain Kelleher (free) ,0-1 each.
