The Brian Dillons second string maintained their unbeaten run in the City Division Junior (2) Hurling League with a 1-12 to 1-6 victory over Mayfield,at Pairc Diolunaigh on Wednesday evening, 11th April,2012. Playing with the advantage of a strong breeze ,in the opening half,the  Brian Dillons side dominated the opening exchanges and led,at the interval by 1-8 to 0-2. Mayfield came more into the game in the second half and a goal , midway through the half, left only five points between the teams. However, the Brian Dillons side outscored their opponents in the final quarter and emerged winners by a six point margin.

             This victory leaves Brian Dillons with seven points from the four games played as we switch over to the Football League for the next few weeks.
