Pairings for City League semi-finals Finalised.

              Last Sunday was the final day of the ordinary rounds of the City Division Hurling and Football Leagues and the semi-finals were finalised at the Board meeting, held on Wednesday, 10th October,2012. Three of our teams qualified for the League semis with our Junior (B) Footballers just losing out when they finished in fifth spot after being pipped for fourth place by Rathpeacon who finished just one point ahead of us.
           The semi-final pairings are; Junior (1) Hurling ; Brian Dillons .v. Na Piarsaigh;   Nemo Rangers .v. St. Finbarrs;
                                                       Junior (2) Hurling; Brian Dillons (B) .v. Whitechurch; Na Piarsaigh(B) .v. Lough Rovers;
                                                       Junior (1) Football; Brian Dillons .v. Whites Cross; Douglas .v. St.Finbarrs;
          Also, as our Junior (A) Hurlers topped the League Table with 22 points from eleven games, they have qualified for the County League ,as City Division representatives and they will meet the winners of the Ballinhassig and Ballymartle game in the quarter-final.
       In other secondary competitions, our Junior (1) Hurlers meet the winners of the Bishopstown and Mayfield game in the quarter-final of the McCurtain Cup while our Junior (B) Hurlers meet Mayfield in the quarter -final of the Craobh Ruadh Cup competition.
       In Football, our Junior (A) team meet Bishopstown in the quarter-final of the McSwiney Cup, while in the Flor McCarthy Cup , 2nd round, our Junior (C) team are pitted against Ballinure.
