The Brian Dillons Minor Hurlers meet St.Vincents in the second round of the Rebel Og County Minor Hurling Championship on this coming Monday evening, 19th August, 2013,out in Whitechurch .(Please note change of venue) with a 7.15pm throw-in.

                 Brian Dillons had a comfortable, 3-12 to 0-1, victory over Shamrocks in the opening round but, they can expect a much tougher game on this occasion as St. Vincents are always difficult opponents, as our Junior (A) Hurlers discovered in last Saturday nights Championship quarter-finals narrow victory. When the sides met in the Hurling League, back in April, St.Vincents emerged winners on a 1-8 to 0-9 scoreline in a game that was played in Pairc Uinsinn under horrible weather conditions. Brian Dillons had to field without three prominent players, all injured, in that game. Hopefully, with all players available for Mondays tussle, the Brian Dillons side can drive on for a victory.
