The Brian Dillons MInor Footballers travel to Coachford on tonight, Thursday, 5th September,2013, for their Rebel Og County Minor Football Championship semi-final replay against Clondrohid with a 6.30pm throw-in. When these sides last met , out in Pairc Diolunaigh on 25th July, it seemed that Brian Dillons had victory within their grasp when they led by 2-8 to 2-5, as the game entered added time. However, in the 31st minute of the second half, Clondrohid pounced, against the run of play, for the equalising goal and the full-time whistle sounded from the resultant kickout.. Another close encounter is anticipated to night and if Brian Dillons are to succeed they cannot afford to waste as many scoring opportunities as they did in the drawn game.
