Junior (A) Hurlers play Nemo in Championship semi-final on Saturday evening.

The Brian Dillons Junior (A) Hurlers will be attempting to reach their third consecutive City Division Junior (A) Hurling Championship final when they take on Nemo Rangers in the semi-final on Saturday evening, 25th August,2012, in Ballinlough at 6.45pm..
Unbeaten to date in League and Championship ,this season, Brian Dillons will be hoping to continue the winning sequence in Saturdays semi-final . However, they will have to be at their best if they are to overcome what is certainly going to be a stern test from Nemo. In the League encounter between the sides back in early July, Brian Dillons recorded a 2-8 to 1-8 victory, but, with several changes in personnel on both sides, Saturdays game will be a totally different story. Sadly, Brian Dillons will be without their outstanding defender, Darragh Rodgers, who is out with a serious knee injury ,sustained in the Football Championship win over Delanys recently. Darragh will be a huge loss to the team as his performances in the earlier Championship victories against Whites Cross and, particularly,Douglas were absolutely brilliant. It is hoped that the Brian Dillons side will overcome his loss by raising their game and advance to their third final in a row and their sixth in nine years.
Best wishes are extended to the players and the Management team of Kieran O"Mahony (Manager), Dave Downey, Alan O"Sullivan, Ken Cotter (selectors) and Martin McSweeney (coach) in Saturdays game.
It is hoped that our supporters will turn out in big numbers to cheer on the team in their efforts to reach the final, once again, on Saturday evening, in Ballinlough @ 6.45pm.
