After last Friday nights scare against St.Vincents, the Brian Dillons Junior (A) Hurlers contest the semi-final of the City Division Junior (A) Hurling Championship ,in Ballinlough on the coming Saturday night, 24th August 2013, with Nemo Rangers providing the opposition at 6.45pm. This game has all the ingredients to be a classic encounter. The teams met at the same stage of last years Championship with Brian Dillons emerging narrow winners on a 2-12 to 1-14 scoreline, while in the 2011 quarter-final, the sides served up another thriller with victory, once again, going to Brian Dillons, again by the minimum of margins, 1-13 to 1-12. Nemo will be determined not to fail for the third consecutive season while Brian Dillons will make a  bold bid to reach their fourth consecutive final.  In last weeks quarter-final game against St.Vincents, the performance of the Brian Dillons team was rather flat and they can consider themselves fortunate to win in the end.
