There are two important Championship games fixed for our teams on this coming Sunday,22nd,July,2012. First jnto action is the Brian Dillons Junior(A) Footballers when they lineout against Delanys in the second round of the City Division Junior (A) Football Championship ,at Ballinlough on Sunday morning with an 11.00am throw-in. This is golng to be an extremely difficult game to win as Delanys are a formidable football team and our side will have to show a huge jmprovement on their first round ,1-9 to 0-5 , victory over Na Piarsaigh,if we are to succeed. However, if we can produce a performance to match the display which toppled the same Delanys opposition in last years Championship , we could well taste success,again.on this occasion.

                      Sunday evening sees the Brian Dillons Minor Hurlers line-out against Sliabh Ruadh( Ballymartyle/ Belgooly combination) at 7.30 pm ,out in Delanys Ground in the opening round of the Rebel Og Premier (2) Minor Hurling Championship. Fresh from their victory over Carrigtwohill,last Wednesday,in the Minor Football Championship, Team Manager, Billy Cashman,will be hoping for a similar result on Sunday.
