Club Teams Face into Important Championship Games in the Next Nine Days.

    The next nine days sees three of the Brian Dillons teams in serious Championship action. On next Wednesday evening, 3rd September, 2014, the Brian Dillons Junior (A) Footballers meet Passage in the semi-final of the City Division Junior (A) Football Championship, which is fixed for Pairc Ui Rinn (under lights) ,beginning at 7.30pm. On the following evening,Thursday, 4th September,2014, the Brian Dillons Junior (B) Hurlers, containing a number of players who will have played with the Junior (A) Footballers on the previous evening, facing up to Na Piarsaigh (B) in the long awaited City Division Junior (B) Hurling Championship quarter-final. This game will be played in Ballinlough, with a 6.15pm throw-in. Then, five days later on Tuesday, 9th September, the Brian Dillons Junior (A) Hurlers will be attempting to reach their fourth City Division Junior (A) Hurling Championship final, in five years, when they meet Nemo Rangers, under the lights of Pairc Ui Rinn, with a 7.30pm throw-in.
