City Division Football League Resumes as Championship Dates Approaches.

                After two weeks of Hurling League action for the Brian Dillons Junior (A) and (B) teams, its back to the Football Leagues during the coming two weeks as the dates for the Football Championship approaches. First into action are our Junior (A) Footballers who have Na Piarsaigh as visitors to Pairc Diolunaigh ,on next Sunday morning,28th April,2013, which has an 11.30am throw-in. Then , on Bank Holiday Monday, 6th May, 2013 , our Junior (A) squad have another Football League (1) game against Bishopstown, out in Bishopstown ,which begins at 6.30pm. The first round of the City Division Junior (A) Football Championship against St. Michaels, is fixed for Saturday evening, 11th May, 2013, at Ballinlough, with a 6.45pm throw-in.
            The Brian Dillons Junior (B) Footballers are not in League action this week as they have a bye but, they will play Nemo Rangers, out in Pairc Diolunaigh, on Wednesday, 8th May, 2013 at 7.00pm.. Brian Dillons have received a bye into the quarter-final of the City Division Junior (B) Football Championship, in which they will clash with Lough Rovers at a date not yet announced..
           Meanwhile, our own Pairc Diolunaigh Ground will host the County Junior (B) Football Championship game between Bride Rovers and Lough Rovers, on this coming Saturday evening,27th April, 2013, with a 7.30pm throw-in. Club Secretary , Donal Lyons, is looking for volunteers to assist in ensuring that arrangements for this game run smoothly. Any club Member available on Saturday evening is asked to attend at Pairc Diolunaigh at 6.30pm.
