Our Intermediate team had an impressive win away to Sliobh Rua in their first league match of the season. Played under lights, we were well below par in the first half but we were only 0-2 to 1-4 down at H.T. Our points came from Susan from a free and Lauren from play. We made three changes at H.T and were completely dominant in the second half. Claire was at her best scoring 1-6, Jane scored 1-0, Lauren 0-2 and Susan added another 0-2. In reply Sliobh Rua scored 0-1. Some of our scores were the result of real hard graft from Essie, Emma and Steph who were outstanding. Amanda having being introduced at H.T also showed her strenght at half back. F.T score 2-12 to 1-5. Plenty of work to do on the training ground however two points on the board for us.
