Dillons Intermediate team continued their unbeaten run with victory against Carrigaline last night. Two goals in the first half from Caoimhe Rodgers and a point from Therese Drummond put Dillons in control at H.T on a score line of 2-1 to 0-3. Caroline Creagh was outstanding at full back in the first half. Carrigaline were very impressive in the second half and scored 2-3. In reply points from Therese Drummond, Amanda Dorgan, Claire Dooley and a late goal from the impressive Caoimhe Rodgers was enough for Dillons to win on the slightest of margins. Final score 3-4 to 2-6. Amanda Dorgan at centre back was the outstanding player on the pitch and she was appointed Captain for the season...Well Deserved.
