Our Intermediate team had an impressive win away to Enniskeane in the Munster Summer League. Despite the fact we were missing some key players, we produced a really positive performance and were comfortable winners on a score line of 5-6 to 2-9. Our five goals came from our full forward line. Susan Kate was on fire scoring three, Caoimhe and Siofra scored one each. We put over some lovely points particularly from Lauren, however we conceded two soft goals. Deirdre was excellent at corner back, and Claire in midfield was outstanding . This was great preparation for our first championship game against Sliobh Rua on Thursday next July 2nd, venue to be decided.
