Victory Dress Dance-A Great Success.

Brian Dillons Camogie Club and Brian Dillons Hurling and Football Club held their Victory Dress Dance at Silversprings Moran Hotel on Saturday last January 26th. Almost 300 people attended and a great night was had by all. The Junior Camogie team were presented with their medals following their historic double victory this year. Out-going Chairperson Liz O Mahoney paid tribute to the team and their mentors John Ring and Niamh O Regan and presentations were made to both.  She also paid tribute to Linda Mellerick for her work with the U16/U18 teams.
Marian McCarthy of the County Board also congratulated the Camogie club for their achievements this year. The Player of the Year Award went to Captain Anthea O Brien which was met with raptuous applause. Appeals were made for past players and parents to take an active part in the Club particularly in coaching and mentoring the under age group. The Junior Hurlers were also presented with their medals and congratulations to Junior B Player of the year James Murphy and the Junior A Player of the Year Tomas Lawrence.
