Our U14 team were beaten by Aghada in the league at the Tank field on Tuesday May 13th. Nevertheless we gave everything we had. We were 2-2 to no score down at H.T playing against the wind. Despite plenty of chances, we didn't take them. Aghada's goalkeeper also made a few great saves. In the second half we upped our game big time and had the majority of possession. Molly Garvin scored a free from 50 metres out. Aghada scored a 45 before we scored a great goal from Olivia Gibson. Katie O Brien on goal for us made two great saves. Final score 1-1 to 2-3. Aghada were physically stronger than us and thats where we struggled. However we weren't found wanting for effort. Dillons are a tough side who never say die. Eve O Connor at full back and Emma Bradfield at corner back were superb.
