It was 'bucket-and-spade' weather when our 'senior' U8 team visited Crosshaven last Saturday morning. Aisling and Una skipped their U10 training to lend their experience (although they had to adjust to the bigger sliotar). As it was Caoimhfainche's first match she was appointed captain for the first half. Abbie and Roisin started in midfield promising they wouldn't be chatting - and they kept their word. Eva, Sinead and Theia gave their usual polished performances and we would have won by more if the Crosshaven goalie hadn't made so many great clearances in the first half. Niall and his crew had a great day and enjoyed themselves.
