Our U18 team won their second consecutive match in this season's league with a superb win away to Kilbrittan on Saturday March 29. The match was won with an outstanding point from Essie O Connelll in the last minute to win on the slightest of margins. At H.T we were four points down with the score at 1-5 to 0-4. Our points came from Emma Sharpe, Lauren Barry and two from Jessica Aghbaloga. We started the second half really well with a goal from Jessica and a point from Shauna Cronin. Kilbrittan then scored a great goal to put them ahead again. The game was very tight and we competed fiercely for every ball. Points from Essie O Conell, Emma Sharpe, Shauna Cronin and Lauren Barry made the game level going in to the last minute. Then, up stepped Essie with the score that won it, a score deserving of winning any match. It was a great team performance by Dillons away to a very skillful side. Once again we showed there is a great team spirit and we are a hard team to beat. Every player played their part to grind out this victory. Niamh O Leary was at her best at full back. Stephanie Mangan and Caroline O Connor were solid at half back. Lauren Barry used her pace to great effect and Jessica scored 1-03 from play. However it was the the performace of Shauna Cronin that was exceptional. She was by far the best player on the field.  Final score 1-11 to 2-7.
