Dillons were beaten in the first round of the U18 championship by Millford/Ballyhea at the Tank Field on October 6.

Sinead Mills got two early points followed by an excellent point from Rachel Carroll. However Millford/Ballyhea got a couple of soft goals and at H.T they were ahead 4-3 to 0-3. An early goal in the second half from Caoimhe Rodgers

gave us momentum but we conceded another goal which hurt us badly. A late goal for Dillons by Kayleigh Looby was just reward for our hard work and effort. The final score was 5-5 to 2-3. Emma Sharpe at centre back and Sinead Mills at centre forward were superb.
