Our U16 team continued their winning run with an impressive victory away to Na Piarsaigh. With a very strong wind,  it was always going to be a game of two haves. Against the wind in the first half, we wanted to be still in the game at H.T, so our defence was crucial. We restricted Piarsaigh to 2-3 and we had one point which came from a free by Siofra. Eve and Makela were outstanding. Were were happy at H.T and Dave drilled it in to our players that we were well in this game. We were excellent in the second half. Amy got an early goal and Anna scored a nice point. Hannah got another goal and we were right back in it. The impressive Molly scored a third goal and late on Kate scored a lovely point from a tight angle. We kept Piarsaigh scoreless in the second half which was a tremendous effort. Emma at corner back was solid and captain Caroline with partner Steph  covered fierce ground in midfield. F.T score 3-3 to 2-3. That's two wins out of two which is very encouraging for our tough U16's.
