Our U16 team have reached the Q.F stage of the championship following a narrow victory against Cobh on Saturday October 12. The game was played at the Tank and it went right down to the wire. Dillons started well with a goal from Rachel Carroll and a second from Lauren Barry. Three points from Sinead Mills and another from Rachel made the H.T score 2-4 to 1-0 in our favour. We were very poor in the second half. Sinead added two more points but that was it. Credit to Cobh they battled hard and scored 2-1 in the second half to come within two points. Dillons held on to win but we must consider ourselves fortunate to still be in the championship. Final score 2-6 to 3-1.
