Our U16 team are back to winning ways following victory over Ballincolig at the Tank Field on Saturday May 17th. Sinead Mills scored four points in the first half, three from play and one from a free. Rachel Carroll and Siofra Deane scored a point each. Ballincollig had one chance and they scored a goal. We should have been out of sight at H.T but we were only three points up. In the second half Ballincollig were much better but a point from Sinead and a rocket of a goal from Siofra was enough to win 1-7 to 1-3. Niamh O Leary at full back put on a masterclass and Sinead in midfield was outstanding. Stephanie Mangan and Caroline O Connor were also very effective. We are back to winning ways with a good victory.
