Our U16 team were narrowly beaten by Douglas yesterday but they were very brave in defeat. It was the re-match following the tragic events last month. We were down a number of key players but that didn't stop us putting in a tremendous performance in true Dillons style. The final score was 3-04 to 1-13. Eve was immense at full back. Molly was class at centre back. Michaela was superb in midfield and Ciara was excellent in the forward line. Ciara scored a rocket of a goal to put us within three points but it wasn't enough. Coach Dave spoke of his pride in this team after the match.  Well done to Douglas and we wish them well in the next round. Douglas Camogie Club put on a tremendous spread for us after the match and it was very much appreciated.
