Our U14 team have reached the semi final of the league following victory over Newtownshandrum in their replay. The drawn match was an absolute cracker and this game was just as close. Newtown started strong but Dillons fought hard and despite being eight points down at one stage, they came back and won by a single point. Goals came from Áine and three from the impressive Olivia. Points came from Eve, Anna, Rebecca and the winning one from Chloe. Final score 4-6 to 5-2. Coach Dave said " This victory was down to pure heart, pride in the jersey and guts from the girls, they were unbelievable". The semi final against Inniscarra is scheduled for Saturday next September 5th in Coachford at 1pm.
