Our U14 team have reached the semi final of the county championship after a fantastic win against Erins Own. Played at the Tank, we had the wind in the first half and we took full advantage. At H.T we were 3-0 to 0-1 up. The second half was very close and exciting. Our opponents really upped their game after the break. All our players worked their socks off and gave it everything. We saw the game out winning 5-1 to 4-2. Megan made some great saves. Captain Rebecca was superb scoring 2 goals, Aine got one, and the magnificent Olivia G scored 2-1. Ellen was also outstanding. Huge improvement from Olivia Brennan, Clare and Courtney. Mary and Aoife were great in defence and Jasmine was very strong. Maeve, Chloe and Ria played really well too. Special thanks to Ruby, Zoe, Sophie, Emily and Cameron who came up from the U12's to help us out. Big Semi final coming soon. Well done girls.
