Our U13 team had a very tough match away to Bishopstown on Saturday and it went right to the wire. A goal from Olivia Brennan and points from Sophie and Olivia Gibson put us up a point at H.T. A goal from Courtney forced a draw and extra time was necessary to split the teams. A point from Olivia G helped to keep the game tied but going in to the final ten minutes we tired a little and Bishopstown got two goals which proved decisive. All our girls were outstanding particularly in defence. Aoife, Clare,Kelly, Leah, the two Zoe's were excellent. Olivia and Ruby cleared ball all day. Our forwards Courtney, Aine, Jane, Olivia B, Sophie and Chloe showed great class. All our subs got a run including Ciara, Niamh and Tara and they did great. Following this defeat we now go in to the Shield.
