DIllons Senior team have qualified for the semi final of the league following an impressive win over Tracton at the Tank this evening. We were missing some regular first team players but the strenght of our squad once again proved invaluable. Two quick points from Clair set the tone early on. 1-02 from play from the impressive Susan put us well in control but credit to Tracton they scored three points all from frees to make the H.T score close at 1-05 to 0-6. In the second half we showed our class. Points from Sinead, Clair, Orla and Jane were followed by goals from Caoimhe and Jane to put us out of sight. Tracton were reduced to just three points in the second half. F.T score 3-09 to 0-9. Lots of positives tonight, Saoirse made some great saves, Mikeala and Rebecca stepped up when they were needed and once again Molly was outstanding. I have to mention our captain tonight who was Jane, she inspired us to victory. We are unbeaten in the league so far, we have topped our group and we look forward to the semi final with confidence.
