Our Senior team are out of the League following a heavy defeat away to Kilbrittan. In the first half we were competing well and at H.T we were within five points at 0-2 to 0-7, Jane and Claire with a point each. We seemed to lose our way in the second half. We lost almost all 50/50 balls and we had no penetration. Kilbrittan walked all over us and ran out easy winners 0-6 to 3-11, Claire having got a further three points and Susan one. Our best player was Deirdre at corner back, she was excellent. We were short our Leaving Cert players but thats no excuse. We didn't play well tonight and we got a wake up call, Welcome to Senior B. We will have to learn from it, work hard on the training pitch and look forward to the Championship. We still have a lot to offer at this level.
