Our Senior team had an impressive win in their first league match of the season away to Valley Rovers. Played in beautiful sunshine, we were slow out of the blocks but we showed our class as the game went on. At H.T we were 0-2 to 1-3 down with both points coming from Clair. We upped a few gears in the second half and scored some beautiful scores. Two goals from Jane and one from Clair made it comfortable for us. Points from Emma and Sinead were the result of some hard graft partcularly around the middle of the field. We reduced Valleys to just one point in the second half. F.T score 3-6 to 1-4. A great start for us with two points on the board. A great all round team performance with Niamh at full back and Molly at wing back outstanding.
