Our Senior team impressed again with a superb win away to Killeagh in the Summer League. Killeagh are a Senior A team and we went there without our Cork players. However we are in great form at the moment and our team ethic is excellent. This match was played in glorious weather and it was tough going. We competed well in the first half but were four points down at H.T. 0-7 to 0-3. In the second half we showed our class. We scored three great goals, two from the Dooley's and one from young Michaela. It was very close right to the end but we won by two points, 3-7 to 1-11. Our work rate was once again outstanding. Emma at full back and Steph in midfield impressed but it was the performance of our captain Amanda that stood out, she was inspirational.
