Our Minor team travelled to Ballinacuura on September 9th to play Fr. O Neills in the championship and won well.

We were below par in the first half but went in at H.T 0-6 to 0-1 up. Points were scored by Lauren Barry x3, Shauna Cronin, Ruth Brosnan and Sinead Mills. In the second half we showed our true potential and scored 4-9 to no score. Goals were from Lauren, Ruth, Emma Carroll and Sinead.  We were completely dominant in all ares of the field and our communication and distribution was excellent. The full time score was 4-15 to 0-1. Lauren Barry was excellent at full forward scoring 1-6 from play. The performance of Ruth Brosnan at centre field was worth watching, she was superb in all aspects of play. Ruth was by far the best player on the pitch. We have now qualified for the quarter finals.
