Dillons Intermediate team continued their winning ways with a victory over Newcestown at the Tank Field on Monday April 22. Dillons played against a strong breeze in the first half and goals from Caroline Craugh and two from Caoimhe Rodgers put Dillons in a commanding position. Newcestown responded with five points in the first half. In the second half Newcestown upped their game and scored two goals and a point. However our defence held strong with commanding performances from Anthea O Brien and Emma Burns. Orla Lawrence also  made some great saves on goal. The winning of the game came from the impressive Caoimhe Rodgers with another two goals in the second half. Two points from frees from Susan Kate Brosnan made the final score Dillons 5-3 Newcestown 2-6.
