Following on from Dillons Junior Championship Title win, the team continued their good form by reaching the final of the League which will be played against Sliabh Rua on Saturday next, 24th November at 2pm at Castle Road.  Their semi final win against Na Piarsaigh was well deserved on a score line of 6-4 to 1-4.  Dillons were dominant in the first half and three goals from play from Jane Dooley, Caoimhe Rodgers and Susan Kate Brosnan put the score at half time Dillons 3-2 to Na Piarsaigh 0-3.  In the second half Na Piarsaigh got an early goal from play and put Dillons under pressure for a ten minute period.  However, Dillons dug deep with Anthea O'Brien, Rebecca Myers and Shauna Ring playing exceptionally well.  Three second half goals for Dillons, one from Jane Dooley and two from man of the match Caoimhe Rodgers decided the contest.   Dillons now have the opportunity to record an historic double and club members are invited to attend the final to support the team.
