Brian Dillons Intermediate team were beaten by Carrigaline in their first Championship game which was played on July 20th at Castle Road.  At half time the score line was 4 - 8 to 1 - 6.  Dillons were much more competitive in the second half but were ultimately beaten 5 - 11 to 3 - 6.  Alison Smith and Jane Dooley were among the goal scorers for Dillons. Therese Drummond and Anthea O Brien played exceptionally well.
