Our Minors were the victims of a cruel defeat at the hands of Newcestown in the championship this morning at the Tank. In a fantastic match we were two points up  with a minute to go before Newcestown scored a goal and a point in quick succession to snatch the victory. We played out our skin from start to finish and its a hard loss to take. We had a total of fifteen players and with no subs it cost us. Rachel had to leave the pitch late in the second half due to injury. Shannyn, Caroline, Steph and Molly were superb but it was the performance of Sinead that caught the eye. Scoring 1-6, she was the best player on the pitch. Best wishes to Newcestown in the next round but we left the pitch with our heads held high. We gave it everything and couldn't do anymore.
