Our Intermediate team have now won their first three league matches following another impressive victory away to Blackrock. The first half was tight through out and we were 1-6 to 1-4 ahead at H.T. Caoimhe scored a rocket of a goal and we scored some quality points from Claire and Susan, in addition Essie was clinical with her frees. However we conceded a soft goal and gave away too many frees which we were punished for. Our overall play was much improved in the second half. Lauren scored a quality goal and points followed from Sinead,Caoimhe and the impressive Claire. We conceded yet another soft goal before Susan blasted one to the net for us.The game was level going in to the last ten minutes. We brought on two subs and made some positional changes and we then finished strong. Another class goal from Caoimhe and two excellent points from Lauren and Sinead followed. Blackrock got a late goal from a penalty but we held on to win 4-12 to 3-11. We weren't at our best but there were lots of positives. Caroline made some great saves, Emer had a great second half, the Dooleys look dangerous, Sinead is at her best and Lauren is flying. Winning becomes a habit and hopefully this will continue in our next match against Enniskeane.
