2012 a successful year to date

2012 has proved to be a very successful year for Brian Dillons Camoige Club with the Junior A, U18, U16, U14, U13, U12 & U8's all doing exceptionally well. 

In March, Dillons Junior A team travelled to Na Piarsaigh in the 'North Side Junior Club Tournament', Dillons proved way too storng on the night and won on a score line of 3-9 to 0-2. Goal scorers for Dillons were Jane Dooley, Deirdre Ring and Emma Sharpe. In the same tournament Dillons met the Glen and again won out on a score line of 4-11 to 1-8. The U12 team took part in the 'Go-Games' which was held at Glen Rovers, teams from Na Piarsaigh, The Glen and Brian Dillons took part in what proved to be a very enjoyable event. The U15's played The GLen at Ballinlough in the 2011 'Seandun' Final, The Glen won the match, 3-6 to 2-1. Caoimhe Rodgers scored both goals for Dillons. 

During April the U14 team played Barryroe in a League match at the Tank Field. Barryroe won 4-1 to 1-5. The Junior A side played Sliabh Rua at the Tank Field in the League, Dillons won 5-5 to 1-3, Shauna Ring was outstanding on the night and scored a hat-trick of goals. On the 9th April the official opening of Brian Dillons pitch at Whites Cross took place, guest of honour was Christy Cooney, President of the G.A.A. The underage girls played during half time in the Cork v Laois U21 exhibition match. The girls also performed a guard of honour for both teams as they entered the pitch. Dillons travelled to Blackrock to play in the U14 League. In a one sided affair DIllons won 9-10 to 0-0. Caroline O'Connor scored 6 of the goals. Dillons travelled to Douglas to play in the Junior A League. Dillons won 2-11 to 2-2. Shauna Ring having scored 2 olate goals for Dillons, Donna Carroll and Therese Drummond chipped in with some quality points on the night. Dillons played Mallow in the U16 League at the Tank Filed, Dillons were victorious on a socre line of 6-6 to 0-2. Caoimhe Rodgers scored 4-4 on the night.
